Shandong Xinlue 2nd Electric Installation Firm currently employs 12 people and mainly responds to the circuit equipment repairs, maintenance, failure rush repairs and line construction of seven 10 KV distribution lines (17.35 km), 39 35KV transmission lines (153.548 km) and four 110 KV transmission lines (20.974 km) in the urban area for the local Power Supply Company.

　　Guangrao Electric Installation Firm was established with eight staff transferred from the Electric Power Bureau in 1987. It was affiliated with the bureau and had acquired 3rd class qualification certificate at that time.

　　The system restructure in 1997 brought the merger of the then Electric Power Bureau Supply Work Area, Inspection Repair Work Area, Engineering Section, and Installation Firm and formed Guangrao Electric Installation Firm. It employed 70 people under four departments: the Office, the Electricity Work Area, the Inspection & Repair Work Area, and the Technology Section.

　　In 2003, Guangrao Electric Installation Firm was divided into three firms, namely the 1st Electric Installation Firm, the 2nd Electric Installation Firm and the 3rd Electric Installation Firm, following the continuous development and demand of the market economy. Among them, the 2nd Electric Installation Firm was mainly responsible for the repair, maintenance and construction of half of the transmission and distribution lines in the county with 11employees.

　　In 2005, to further deepen the reform of the power system and better adapt to the development of the market economy, the then Electric Installation Firm was reorganized as Shandong Xinlue Electric Installation Company, including three firms. The facilities for repair and maintenance which are in charged by them remained unchanged.

　　In 2006 the 2nd Electric Installation Firm introduced one live line working device and trained four live line workers and one driver to meet the market demand for power technology management and development under the guidance of the Group leaders and technical staff with relevant government departments. It operated more often, yet the number of blackouts was greatly reduced. The power supply was more reliable and the quality of power supply was further improved.

　　Since its establishment, the company pays close attention to professional training, and strives to improve staff’s professional skills. It actively and steadily introduces advanced equipment, and advocates the concept of high-quality projects. During power construction, it gives full play to people's initiative and has accomplished the construction of electric power facilities. Thus, it was praised by the county infrastructure headquarters. Moreover, it has been rated as advanced unit for many times. From 2005 to 2007, it had successfully completed 35 KV Huaguan Line breaking project, 35 KV Chending Line breaking projects, 110 KV Xishui Line, 110 KV Zhenghe double-circuit project, 110 KV Xinguang Line modification project, 110 KV Shili Line, 110KV Yangyong Line, and 110 KV Chenguan Station 6 KV distribution transformer boost reconstruction project. All of them were conducted according to the plan and had been inspected and recognized by relevant county and city bureaus. The experimental transmission was one-off successful and won honor for the company.　

　　In future work, the 2nd Electric Installation Firm will coordinate with other sister companies, and strive to open up the power construction market and to win the market with high-quality construction, doing our share for the development of Guangrao Power Supply Company.
